India and England are set to make cricketing history later this year with the first-ever women’s Test match to be played at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The historic fixture follows the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, being held across England and Wales in June and July.
Lord’s has hosted numerous high-profile matches over its long history, including World Cup finals, but has never before staged a women’s Test. The fixture is being seen as a significant milestone for the growth of the women’s game in cricket’s traditional heartland.
