New Flex Light Nameboard Inaugurated at Mahadevapura Police Station; Free Health Check-Up Camp Organised for Police Personnel

Bengaluru: A new flex light signboard was installed at Mahadevapura Police Station in collaboration with Medicover Hospitals, Whitefield, and VSF. The nameboard was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Sidda Reddy, Regional Director, Medicover Hospitals; Mr. Ravi Rajhans, Founder and President, VSF; and Mr. Vasanth Kumar, Police Inspector.

On the occasion, Medicover Hospitals, Whitefield, organised a free comprehensive health check-up camp for police personnel. The camp included various health screenings such as eye examinations, blood pressure and blood sugar tests, ECG, and doctor consultations. Free prescription spectacles will also be provided to police personnel who require them. More than 100 police personnel benefited from the health camp.

Given the demanding nature of police duties, which involve high levels of stress, irregular working hours and continuous public service, regular health check-ups are essential. Such camps help identify health concerns at an early stage and enable police personnel to take timely preventive measures against conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sidda Reddy, Regional Director, Medicover Hospitals, said, “Police personnel serve society around the clock to ensure public safety. Taking care of their health and well-being is an important part of our social responsibility. Regular health check-ups can help detect several health conditions at an early stage and enable timely medical intervention. We are pleased to have organised this free health camp for police personnel.”

Speaking on the occasion, Police Inspector Mr. Vasanth Kumar said, “The health check-up camp organised by Medicover Hospitals, keeping the well-being of police personnel in mind, has been extremely beneficial. Such camps provide police personnel with a valuable opportunity to undergo health screenings despite the demands of their duties. We thank Medicover Hospitals and VSF for this meaningful social initiative.”
